District file of major risks for the Vosges district - 2016
Description
After the definition of a major risk, and indications related to the role of public authorities and to information sources, this publication presents the various major natural, industrial, specific and mine-related risks present in the Vosges district. It notably addresses the risk related to radon by presenting some generalities (definition, way of occurrence, human consequences, national action plan, regional geological context), by indicating the presence of the radon risk in Vosges district, by evoking the existing regulation for the different types of building (establishment open to public, working places, housing) and how this risk is taken into account in town planning. It also addresses the nuclear risk by presenting some generalities (definition, way of occurrence, consequences for people and for the environment, location of nuclear plants in France in 2016, location of plants in the Grand-East region), by describing the rescue organisation in the district (alert, iodine pill distribution, individual safety instructions)
