On possibility of gamma-spectrometric determination of plutonium content in used uranium fuel of RA reactor

Description
The possibility of determination of plutonium in the used 2% (235U) uranium fuel of RA reactor by analysing the spectrum of the fuel gamma-radiation with Ge(Li) spectrometer has been studied. It is obtained that the concentration of plutonium in the fuel, by this non-destructive method, can be determined with an error of about 10%
Abstract (Serbian)
Studirana je mogucnost odredjivanja plutonijuma u koriscenom 2%-nom (235U) uranskom gorivu reaktora RA preko analize spektra njegovog gama-zracenja, spektrometrom sa poluprovodnickim Ge(Li) detektorom. Dobijeno je da se koncentracija plutonijuma u gorivu, ovom nedestruktivnom metodom, moze odredjivati sa greskom od oko 10%Files
