Description
Self-organization process of Fe-Pd based ternary alloy was examined by in-situ grazing-incidence small-angle scattering. The morphological evolution of thin metallic layers with 2 to 3 nm in thickness into distributed nanodot structures was examined by GISAXS. To understand the temporal evolution of the microstructure of the film and its properties that is closely related to their microstructures, it is important to know the composition of the film. RBS was used to examine composition of thin films. (author)
