Description
The R-matrix formulation of nuclear reaction theory is briefly reviewed, using the Green's function operator approach. General features of comprehensive R-matrix analyses of reactions in light systems are discussed, illustrated by a description of an analysis of reactions in the 7Li system. Some characteristics of dispersion expansions for the R-and S-matrices are compared. (author)
