The study of the Mo98 generation from the waste of the Tc99m generators
Description
The possibility of the Mo98 regeneration from the wastes of Tc99m generators for the purpose of its repeated use in the process of manufacturing the Tc99m generators has been investigated. The optimal regime and eluent composition for practically complete desorption of sorbed molybdenum with aluminium oxide were determined. A purity of the obtained preparation was estimated by the gamma-spectrometric technique. (author). 4 refs., 1 fig
