Description

The paramagnetic limit Hp of the upper critical magnetic field Hc2 in superconductors with charge-density waves has been derived in the framework of the self-consistent approach. The obtained quantity Hp always exceeds the Clogston-Chandrasekhar value HpBCS. Relevant experimental data for inorganic and organic superconductors with Hc2> HpBCS are analysed and are shown to be in qualitative agreement with the proposed theory
