Description
Boron is an important nuclear material as one of its isotopes,10B, has high neutron absorption cross-section. Therefore, precise and accurate determination of isotopic composition and concentration of boron is essential in nuclear technology. The present work highlights the nature and magnitude of correction to get true 10B/11B isotopic ratio from the experimentally measured ion intensity ratio Robs 88/89, using the mathematical equation based on statistical considerations
