Congenital cystic disease of the lung in a child - an accidental finding

Description
Congenital cystic disease of the lung in an 11-year-old girl is described. The radiological findings were made when the child was X-rayed because of post-infective thrombocytopenia; the findings were accidental since there were no symptoms of lung disease. The radiological appearances of congenital cystic disease of the lung are described and their distinction from honeycomb lung discussed. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Es wird ueber einen Fall von kongenitaler Wabenlunge bei einem 11jaehrigen Maedchen berichtet. Der Roentgenbefund der Lunge ist bei einer bestehenden postinfektioesen Thrombozytopenie insoweit ein Zufallsbefund, als keinerlei Beschwerden von seiten der Lungen vorhanden sind. Die Roentgensymptomatologie der kongenitalen Wabenlunge sowie die Abgrenzung gegenueber der Honey Comb Lung werden diskutiert. (orig.)Additional details
