Plasma neutron sources
Description
The theory of deriving high energy neutrons from thermonuclear fusion reactions is outlined and the necessary properties of the plasma discussed. The characteristics of plasma focus devices and a conceptual design of such a device are given. Neutron yield, emission time, distribution of source strength and neutron spectra are discussed. (U.K.)
