The increased production of 99Mo in the context of rising global demand is an urgent task. The new type of a target for 99Mo production in WWR-c reactor technological channels has been developed. A series of calculations to estimate energy deposition for standard and modified target have been done. A considerable energy deposition increase in a modified target has also been found
