Test program for shielding in nuclear power plants

The standard applies to shieldings installed for personnel protection in nuclear power plants, either permanently or for routine use during start-up and normal operation. It intends to set up a test programme for shieldings in order to assure their being up to the standard values set in planning. In the test program, data will be acquired in such manner that the local dose rates measured can be compared with the standard values set in planning and conclusions can be drawn concerning deviations of the local dose rate from these standard values.
