Process for separating actinides and lanthanides present in the trivalent state in an acid aqueous solution
Description
The acid aqueous solution is placed into contact with a solvent which includes an initial extracting agent composed of an organic ligand with a nitrogen atom electron donnor such as 2.4.6-tri(2-pyridyl) 1.3.5-triazine, and a second extracting agent composed of an acid organosoluble compound or one of its salts such as dinonylnaphtalene sulphonic acid or its sodium salt. This enable the actinides in the organic solvent to be extracted selectively. Application is the processing of radioactive effluents
