Planar theory made plainer
Description
This paper discusses two important steps which have been taken to extend the parquet method to fermion systems and for systems with spin- and isospin-dependent forces. The parquet diagrams are shown and they are constructed by taking any two boxes and joining them together by connecting two legs from one box to the other box. Some results are presented of a study of the formal inclusion of spin and tensor forces for problems involving bosons. A parquet perspective table is presented which starts with the exact theory and shows what has been done and what remains to be done to deal with interesting systems. Additional structure may be added to this diagram at many points
