Some features of calculation of cascade-probabilistic function for ions on computer

Description

Earlier common expression for cascade-probabilistic function (CPF) for ions with taking into account energy losses was received and it mathematical analysis is carried out. Computer calculation by the formula was labored because of large values of ion interactions. In the paper the modernized formula for calculation CPF for ions on computer is proposed. All of calculations are carried out with double precision at full interval of observation depth. Calculation results show that CPF depends on depth of ion generation and from ion interactions, CPF has following behavior: it increases up to maximum and then goes down
