Status of the nucleon decay and nantin oscillations searches in underground experiments

Description
The recent results obtained in the underground experiments concerning the nucleon stability and nantin oscillations are reviewed. Although a statistics of about 8 kiloton.years has been accumulated up to now in these expeirments, no strong evidence has yet been found for nucleon decay of nantin oscillations. The lower limit of the nucleon lifetime, which is decay mode dependent range between 1031 and 3 1032 years. For n antin oscillations, the lower limit of the lifetime of the neutron inside oxygen or iron nuclei reaches 8 1031 years, corresponding to a nantin oscillation time larger than 108 seconds
