The method of determination of functional state reticuloendothelial system of organism in experiments

Description
The method of determination of functional state of reticuloendothelial system of organism in experiment was elaborated. It may be used in medicine and surgery with the purpose of increasing of investigations' precision. It includes the intrusion of colloidal solution of technetium 99 and simultaneously is made isolated physiological perfusion of liver, spleen and lungs with equal amounts of technetium 99 colloidal solution. After this the content of technetium 99 is determined at the input and output of each organ and the absorption percentage (P) is calculated according the following formula: P=G1·G2·100%, where G1 - the amount of radioactive material in organ (pulses/min)and G2 - the amount of radioactive material in injected solution (pulses/min). On data obtained the decision is made about the functional state of reticuloendothelial system of organism. (author)
