Study of preparation and reactions of some 1,3 benzoxazines and their substituted compounds
Description
Preparation and reaction of substituted and unsubstuted salicyloyl chloride were investigated in this thesis, and therefore substituted and unsubstituted salicyloyl chloride were reacted with methyl thiocyanate to form bicyclic compounds (thio benzoxazine), in which SCN group is retained in the product, while the substituted thiocyanate is lost as methyl chloride.
