International neutron metrology in the LVR-15 research reactor

Description
A vertical channel in the reflector of the LVR-15 Research Reactor in NRI Rez was chosen for a neutron metrology comparison. The neutron spectrum is typical for a light water MTR. The calibration and quantification of the neutron field in the vertical channel can improve the quality of neutron measurements in NPP's and enhance the evaluation of operational and safety parameters. After a simultaneous irradiation, evaluations have been done by reactor dosimetry groups of NRI (Rez, Czech Republic) and ECN (Petten, the Netherlands). In the paper the experimental arrangement and techniques are described. Comparisons of the results are presented and discussed together with the results of some adjustments. (orig.)
