Training simulator for fuel handling system in NPP
- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Reactor Control Div.
- 2. Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., Bombay (India)
Description
Training of operation and maintenance crew for fuel handling system in PHWRs is a necessity since this system performs on-power refuelling. A computer based training simulator is being envisaged. The system is easily configurable to a variety of training needs. It is configured as interconnection of microcomputer and PCs wherein each computing node implements a subset of the requirements. Job partitioning among the nodes ensures that the system can be developed and used in parts. The operation logs of training sessions will be stored in computer memory for extracting training performance summary in off-line mode. (author). 1 fig
