Spin asymmetries in polarized Hadron collisions and the polarized gluon density

Description
We consider spin asymmetries for prompt photon production and jet production in collisions of longitudinally polarized hadrons. These reactions will be key tools at the BNL-RHIC p-vectorp-vector collider for determining the gluon spin density in a polarized proton. We study the effects of QCD corrections to the corresponding cross sections
