Description

Experimental profiles of interplanetary magnetic field components, obtained by PROGNOZ-6, ISEE-2, IMP-8 satellites when passing through magnetic cloud from powerfull solar flare on November, 22, are correlated with the theoretical model of force-free magnetic field of diffusion pinch. It was found that qualitative agreement of theory and experiment occured at permissible configurational and kinematic characteristics of circular cylinder, approximating the cloud
