Description

A sabotage protection measure of a nuclear power plant was involved into the new safety regulations as the specialized safety facility against an aircraft attack and an interface between safety and security has become ever more important in accident management. In this paper, we have shown a preliminary study on damage control measure for sabotage protection using vital area identification methodology. An adversary's interference might be a key point of accident management. To prepare for defense-in-depth, diversity and redundancy could be provided with permanent and movable equipment. However, an obstruction caused by unsuppressed adversary plays an important role in making a decision of the defense-in-depth measures. (author)
