The perennial dynamics of radionuclide accumulation of zoo benthos in water bodies of Chernobyl atomic station zone

Description
During 1986-2001 the dynamics of radionuclide accumulation in zoo benthos in zone of Chernobyl accident in Belarus were studied. Radionuclide content at this period in all taxa decreased from 31 - 1100 kBq kg-1 to 0,1 - 4 kBq kg-1. Nevertheless, it is yet much higher than the level of natural radioactivity of freshwater zoo benthos - up to 4 - 8 Bq kg-1
