Simulation of electronic structure of 3d-transition metals in liquid state. Continuent model MT-approximation of effective medium

Description

With regard to the effect of short-range order on electronic structure in 3d-transition metal melts it is suggested to use pair correlation distribution functions at configuration neutralization of the absolute operator. Variant of continuent model for electron structure of 3d-metal melts is suggested in terms of multiple scattering theory. Using iron melt as an example it is shown, that the given approximation allows to take account of the effect of short-range order on electron state density
