Description

The low temperature magnetization of the induced ferromagnets, Pr3Se4 and Pr3S4 are examined with hydrostatic pressures to 9 kbar. In Pr3S4 one ferromagnetic component is rapidly quenched by pressure; in Pr3S4 the magnetization is uniformly depressed. Data are discussed with a molecular field model including crystal field effects. (orig.)
