Pion-deuteron scattering at large momentum transfers

Description
It was observed that replacing the approximate (eikonal) laboratory frame kinematics by the exact ones induces large changes in Glauber Theory. This trivial recoil correction brinas Glauber's Model into complete agreement with a much less approximate calculation based on Watson Theory which, in turn, is in excellent agreement with the data of Bradamante et al. (author)
