During the 15. congress of European Society for therapeutic radiology and oncology (ESTRO) which took place at Vienna from the 23. to 26. of September 1996, three sessions dominated this meeting: the modifications of the fractionated irradiation of otorhinolaryngological carcinomas, the utility of predictive tests and the importance of an irradiation complement after tumorectomy of mammary carcinomas.
