GENIE - A Universal Neutrino Event Generator

Description
GENIE is a Monte Carlo event generator for neutrino interactions. It is a universal Object-Oriented/C++ software system and has the purpose to become the canonical Monte Carlo for Neutrino Interaction Physics. It attempts to extend its validity to all neutrino types and nuclear targets, and to unify most of the existing approaches for neutrino event generation into a modern object-oriented software design. We present a very brief description of the GENIE 2.0.0 package which is the first physics production release, extensively validated as well as publicly available. This production version is primarily intended for the on-going analyses of the MINOS experiment, since it features a complete adaptation of NeuGEN
