Enthalpy and heat capacity of LiAlO2 and Li2SnO3 from 300 to 1000 K

Description
Enthalpies and heat capacities of LiAlO2 and Li2SnO3 in the 300-1000 K temperature range have been determined by drop calorimetry. In order to derive heat capacity values precisely from the corresponding enthalpy data, two analytical procedures were used. The heat capacities obtained for LiAlO2 agree well with the published values over the temperature range of the measurements, and are smoothly linked to the low-temperature literature values. The derived heat capacities of Li2SnO3 at 298.15 K and 1000 K are 114.5 and 154.1 J mol-1 K-1, respectively. (orig.)
