Description
Scintigraphic investigation of the kidneys with 99mTc-ascorbic complex was carried out in 3610 patients: 1308 - with nephrolitiasis, 472 - with chronic pyelonephritis, 606 - with renal tuberculosis, 428 - with arterial hypertension, 258 - with abdominal tumours, 73 - with congenital malformations and 465 - with other diseases. The diffuse impairment of renal parenchyma was most often observed (47,1%), which in most of the cases was bilateral, but often asymetric. Focally impaired structure was established in 9%, disturbed urinary flow - in 9,2%, afunction of one kidney - in 8,9%. Comparison was made of the data of the scintigraphic investigations with the clinical conditions of the disease and the results of laboratory and X-ray investigations
