Gastight container for enclosing radioactive materials
Description
The cylindrical container consists of austenitic steel and is welded vacuum-tight. The internal pressure is indicated by means of a permanent magnet, the position of which in the container wall can be found. This permanent magnet is fixed to an indicator bar which is itself connected to a case. This case consists of two welded bellows which expand when the pressure in the container increases and so increases the position of the permanent magnet. (DG)

Der zylindrische Behaelter besteht aus austenitischem Stahl und ist vakuumdicht verschweisst. Die Innendruckanzeige erfolgt mittels eines Dauermagneten, dessen Stellung durch die Behaelterwandung festgestellt werden kann. Dieser Dauermagnet ist an einem Anzeigestab befestigt, der selbst mit einem Gehaeuse in Verbindung steht. Dieses Gehaeuse besteht aus zwei zusammengeschweissten Faltenbaelgen, die bei Druckzunahme im Behaelter sich ausdehnen und somit die Stellung des Dauermagneten veraendern. (DG)Additional details
