Protection of capacitive energy storages with thyristor switches against short currents
Description
Two circuits for protection of emergency currents of capacitive energy storages with thyristor switches are considered. One of the circuits represents a linear RL-circuit the ofher - is a transformer with switched in opposition windings. The effect of real transformer parameters on current characteristics in operating i an emergency i' regimes is analysed. It is shown, that in the emergency regime the current is only by ∼ 20% higher than the amplitude of the operating current, while (di'/dt)/(di/dt)≤3. Elments of the circuit are developed; recommendations for choice of their parameters are given
