Description
The thermo-convective wavy rolls resulting from the introduction of an excitation at channel inlet in Poiseuille-Rayleigh-Benard flows are numerically investigated. The influence of the excitation frequency on the growth of the wavy rolls is particularly studied. An optimal frequency is suggested for the flow patterns in rectangular CVD reactors. (authors)
