Autodiographic and scintigraphic studies on cryosurgically injured mandibular bone using 99Tc sup (m) MDP
Description
Subsequent examination of cryosurgery-lesioned rabbit mandibles by scintigraphy and auroradiography demonstrated that the lesion and healing processes could be followed by the radionuclide imaging methods. Evidence obtained indicated that the healing process is not periosteal, but originates in the bone marrow and is completed after around 8-12 weeks. (Author)
