The stressed-strained state of the dispersive composition UO2-Cr
Description
Theoretical analysis of the effect of different factors (size of dispersed particles, irradiation) on the efficiency of the dispersive UO2 - Cr system has been carried out. The dispersive composition is considered as a set of non-interacting spherical cells. The activity of a cell is considered in the range of elastic plastic strains. It is shown that stresses occuring in the composition are proportional to the square of fuel particle sizes and neutron flux. The optimal sizes of fuel particles are determined with reference to the matrix damage and its stressed- strained state
