Description

The Slovak Institute of Metrology started with nuclear medicine radionuclide calibrators verification in 1997. There are 11 nuclear medicine departments operating up to 18 instruments for the assay of the radionuclides applies to patients 'in vivo'. The Metrological Law requires verification of these instruments annually. In this paper the metrological verification of nuclear medicine radionuclide calibrators used in the Slovak Republic is described
