Choice of optimal mode to accomodate daily loads swings in electric power systems

Description

Mathematical model to accomodate daily load swings in electric power systems is suggested, which permits to take into account the most significant factors related to the operation of power units in alternating mode. The optimal degree of NPP discharge as a result of NPP daily loading regulation is determined using criterion of the maximum reduced costs. The applied method of combined algorithm makes it possible to assign consumption characteristics in the form of polynomials of second degree which permits to increase calculation accuracy in short time periods
