Highlights: • Great occipital nerve neuropathy in Cervicogenic headache can be shown on imaging. • Diffusion tensor imaging measurement is feasible for great occipital nerve. • Negative correlation exists between apparent diffusion coefficient and duration. -- Abstract: To assess differences in bilateral great occipital nerves (GONs) in patients with unilateral cervicogenic headache (CEH) using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI).
