X-ray method of vacancy concentration determination

Description
An x-ray method of determining the vacancy concentration is developed on the base of precise measuring of the metal lattice parameter. The higher the vacancy concentration, the lower the relative error of the method. The data obtained match the results obtained using the internal friction method. New technical approaches have been used when studying the special features of creep of the metal pipes of the steam pipes of power plants
