Description
The radiation situation in Slovakia following the Chernobyl accident is discussed. Results of gamma- and alpha-radioactivity measurements of aerosols and gases (3H, 14C, 85Kr and 133Xe) are presented. They are compared with long-terms measurements of several anthropogenic radionuclides released in the atmosphere by nuclear bomb tests and by the nuclear industry. (author). 9 figs., 1 tab., 7 refs
