Upgrading beam line design for CYCIAE-30 medical cyclotron

Description
The new beam line is designed based on the existing beam lines on the CYCIAE-30 medical cyclotron at China Institute of Atomic Energy. The beam optics is simulated by TRACE-3D in order to transport the intense beam from the switching magnet of the cyclotron to the gas target for new radioactive isotope production. The designs of the bending magnet and quadrupole magnet are also described in detail in the paper. (authors)
