Description

Isothermal method was used to study cosolubility of strontium and barium alumohydrides with aluminium hydride in diethyl ether (Et2O) at 25 deg C. The determined values of Sr(AlH4)2 and AlH3 cosolubility in Et2O are presented graphically on Gibbs diagram. It is shown, that strontium and barium aluminohydrides insoluble in diethyl ether are well soluble in aluminium hydride (10-17%). The last one is conditioned by aluminohydride ability to formation of soluble polyhydridoaluminates - adducts of aluminohydrides and aluminium hydride M(AlH4)2XnAlH3 (n=4.8). In both studied systems solid phases are crystallized in the form of diethyletherates with variable number of ether molecules
