Temperature quenching of photoluminescence of curium (3) polytungstate complexes

Description
Temperature dependences of luminescence life time of curium (3) complexes with some polytungstate anions were investigated in 4-80 deg C range. Activation energies of temperature quenchig of luminescence were determined. It is shown that obtained data correspond satisfactorily with the assumption about luminescence quenching in these complexes according to the mechanism of charge transport. It is noted that luminescent properties of curium (3) and terbium (3) complexes depend directly on stability of tetravalent f-element in them
