Application of flow gas proportional counter in the scanning soft X ray microscope using synchrotron radiation

Description

Soft X ray microscopy is most suitable to the high resolution imaging for the biological specimens. Proportional counter has been widely used in the detection of X ray. The construction and characteristics of the flow gas proportional counter are reported, which was used in the scanning soft X ray microscope at Hefei National Synchrotron Radiation source. First batch of the results of the scanning X ray microscope are given
