Description
Digital tuner control system has been developed for the Energy Recovery Linac test facility in KEK (cERL). Both mechanical and electric (Piezo) tuners should be controlled to keep the cavity detuning to be constant. The two FPGA boards will be installed to the digital rf field and tuner control based on the uTCA standard. In order to examine this digital system, cavity tuner test-stand was assembled. This consists of the TE111 mode cavity and tuners. By this test-stand, cavity tuning system can be evaluated prior to the cERL installation scheduled on this Autumn. (author)
