Field error tolerances of Eddy current thin septum for Indus-2
- 1. Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore (India)
Description
Indus-2 is a 2.5 GeV synchrotron radiation source being operated at RRACT. A new eddy current thin septum with a better field quality is being developed as a replacement of presently working thin septum in Indus-2. Studies are carried out to evaluate the field error tolerances of the thin septum. While deciding the tolerances, field quality of existing thick septum is also considered. Brief results are presented in this paper. (author)
