Description

Highlights: • Microcrystallites of KNb1-xCrxO3 were synthesized by solid state reaction method. • Microstructure such as rods, cubes and micro edges were observed for various concentration of Cr doping. • Band gap of KNb1-xCrxO3 is varied from 3.14 to 2.88 eV. • A high coercivity (593 Oe) and saturation magnetization (0.021 emu g−1) is obtained for 0.03 M of Cr doping.
