Bogomolny equations and dimensional reduction

Description
A variant of the bosonic sector of N=4 Yang-Mills theory is constructed which admits Bogomolny equations (i.e. first order equations of motion which minimize the action), but which does not, unlike similar cases hitherto known, possess a straightforward interpretation as a pure Yang-Mills field in extra dimensions.
