RIMNET phase 2
Description
RIMNET (Radioactive Incident Monitoring Network) Phase 2, launched in the UK in 1994, is a substantial emergency response information system. As well as being central to the national plans for coping with a future overseas nuclear accident, it provides a good communications and information exchange resource which can be applied to potential domestic nuclear accidents and other aspects of environmental contamination.
