Simple method for separation of radionuclides of germanium, gallium and copper from cyclotron targets
- 1. Sankt-Peterburgskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Sankt-Peterburg (Russian Federation)
Description
Simple and effective dry method for separation of radionuclides of germanium, gallium and copper from cyclotron 66Zn targets is proposed. The method considers the significant differences in volatility of metallic germanium, gallium and copper from one side and zinc one from the other side. Thermal treatment of the target during 2 hours at 900 K permits to separate over 95 % of atoms of the intention radionuclides with retention of mass and chemical state of target substance
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
